On December 11, Georgica Green Ventures celebrated the completion of the Laurel Homes redevelopment at a ribbon cutting ceremony with the North Hempstead Housing Authority, Nassau County, NYS Homes & Community Renewal and our valued collaborators.

“It’s hard to make plans for the future and to dream unless you know you have permanent, safe housing,” Ms. Rona Smith, owner of Housing Initiative LLC, shared as news that the Southold Town Board has accepted the GGV and Housing Initiatives LLC proposal to build 32 units of ownership-based housing at a five-acre site currently owned by the town on Carroll Ave in Peconic.

News update on The Vue—a proposed development at the corner of West Main Street and Sweezy Avenue in the Town of Riverhead. The two-acre site is within an overlay district established by the town to spur development in distressed areas.
