One Carleton Green is a transformative, mixed-use, and mixed-income, multifamily development with supportive units, located at 1 Carleton Avenue in Central Islip, Suffolk County, NY 11722. The project consists of a new modular construction three-story building which will include 96 apartments with prime ground floor retail space along Carleton Avenue. The unit mix includes 9 studios, 62 one-bedroom apartments, and 25 two-bedroom apartments plus 1 two-bedroom apartment for an on-site superintendent. This development includes 15 supportive units for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities with services provided by Family Residences and Essential Enterprises, Inc.

One Carleton Green advances three New York State Housing Goals: Downtown Revitalization Initiative, Community Renewal and Revitalization Project, and Workforce Opportunity Project. It is designed as all-electric, high level of building energy performance with Energy Star products and materials and will achieve certification under Enterprise Green Communities Criteria 2020 Plus with additional Stretch Sustainability Measures. Features include site-sourced solar panels, EV charging stations, bike racks, and on-site resident amenities.

The project will also provide 10 fully accessible and adapted, move-in ready units for persons with mobility impairments and 5 fully accessible and adapted, move-in ready units for persons with hearing and vision impairments.
